Structural Lead

Leon is the lead structural engineer for the complex structural design and redevelopment of the elevated road and forecourt at Melbourne Airport. The project includes a new drop-off area and pedestrian link bridges, with a wide range of structural challenges—from strengthening existing slabs to designing new long-span bridges.

NEXTDC M2 Development (Stages 3, 5, 6 & 8) | Melbourne, Australia | NEXTDC

Structural Lead

Leon served as the lead structural engineer across multiple stages of the NEXTDC M2 development, which included a 6000sqm mission-critical office building, a 10000sqm data centre, and a 2-level substation building. His responsibilities encompassed overall project delivery, structural analysis, design, and documentation of key elements such as lateral stability systems, foundations, and in-ground structures. These projects demanded innovative solutions to meet stringent post-disaster and mission-critical requirements, ensuring resilience and reliability for high-performance facilities.

NEXTDC S3 Data Centre | Sydney, Australia | NEXTDC

Structural Lead

NEXTDC S3 is set to become Australia’s largest data centre, with an estimated value of $1BN. Leon was responsible for the structural analysis, design, and documentation of lateral stability systems, foundations, and in-ground structures for this mega project.

Northumberland Main Building | Melbourne, Australia | Grocon

Structural Engineer & Modeller

Northumberland is a twelve-level office development designed by award-winning architectural firm John Wardle Architects, with a strong focus on environmental and social sustainability. Leon contributed to redesign changes, detailed design, and documentation of the steel structure with composite floors, while reviewing lateral stability effects on the side cores.

Northumberland Companion Building | Melbourne, Australia | Grocon

Structural Engineer

Leon was responsible for the structural analysis, detailed design, and documentation of the companion five-level office building, including its precast façade and walls. These elements support CLT floors and act as the building’s lateral support system.
